家族滞在ビザとは、就労ビザなどで日本に滞在している外国人（扶養者）の配偶者と子が、日本で一緒に暮らすための在留資格です。原則として就労は認められていませんが、「資格外活動許可」を取得することで、一部の就労が可能です。
A family visa is a status of residence that allows the spouse and children of a foreigner (dependent) who is staying in Japan on a work visa or other visa to live together in Japan. In principle, employment is not permitted, but some employment is possible by obtaining permission to 「engage in activities other」 than those permitted under the status of residence.
この在留資格に該当する日本に滞在している外国人とは、
教授、芸術、宗教、報道、
高度専門職、経営・管理、法律・会計業務、医療、研究、教育、技術・人文知識・国際業務、企業内転勤、介護、興行、技能、特定技能２号
文化活動又は留学の在留資格をもって在留する者の扶養を受ける配偶者又は子として行う日常的な活動。
該当例としては、在留外国人が扶養する配偶者・子。
Daily activities conducted as a dependent spouse or child of a person residing in Japan with a status of residence of
Professor, Artist, Religious Affairs, Journalist (Table 1), Highly Skilled Professional (Table 2), Business Management, Legal/Accounting Services, Medical, Research, Education, Technical/Humanities Specialist/International Services, Intra-company Transferee, Nursing Care, Entertainer, Skilled Worker, Specified Skilled Worker (ii), Cultural Activities (Table 3), or Student (Table 3) under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.
Examples of such persons include spouses and children supported by foreign residents.

１．日本に滞在している扶養者の書類
Documents for those staying in Japan
(1) パスポート Passport（copy）
(2) 在留カード Residence CARD（copy）
(3) 写真 Photo（40mm×30mm）
JPEG, BMP is also acceptable !
２．申請人と扶養者との身分関係を証する文書（次のいずれか）
verifying the relationship between the applicant and the dependent.
（Any of the following documents）
(1) 戸籍謄本
Family register
(2) 婚姻届受理証明書
Marriage registration certificate
(3) 結婚証明書（写し）
Marriage certificate（copy）
(4) 出生証明書（写し）
Birth certificate（copy）
３．扶養者の職業及び収入を証する文書
Documents verifying the career and income of the supporter.
(1) 在職証明書又は営業許可書の写し等
※ 扶養者の職業がわかる証明書など
Certificate of employment or business license, etc.
(2) 住民税の課税（又は非課税）証明書
Resident tax (or non-tax) certificate.
(3) 納税証明書（１年間の総所得及び納税状況が記載されたもの）
※ １月１日現在お住まいの市区町村の区役所・市役所・役場から発行されます。
Tax payment certificate.
「家族滞在」の在留資格に係る資格外活動許可について
Regarding permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the Family Stay VISA
1週について28時間以内の収入を伴う事業を運営する活動又は報酬を受ける活動を行う場合は、資格外活動の包括許可が必要となります。
If you wish to engage in activities related to operating a business that generates income for up to 28 hours per week or activities for which you receive remuneration, you will need a general permit for activities outside the scope of your status of residence permitted under the visa status you have obtained thus far.
